Sun Plaza Mall
BauConzept Engineering provided technical consultancy services for all mechanical & electrical systems installed in Sun Plaza Mall. Scope included the assessment of existing equipment & main MEP routes in terms of remaining life cycle, asset strategy change vs replacement, corrective and preventive and maintenance performance. The 230 000 sqm GBA shopping center, located in the south area of Bucharest, has balanced retail mix, with over 190 stores and leisure spaces, like coffee shops, cinema, bowling and pool centers, special places for children and a large food court . Sun Plaza was the winner of the “Best Refurbishment/ Extension of the Year”, CIJ Awards 2017.

BauConzept Engineering provided project management services for all mecanical & electrical systems consisting of cost estimation, contractors’ selection for MEP works and site management, as part of the investor team. The 14 000 sqm GBA office building, BREEAM Excelent rated, located on DN1 highway, in the north area of Bucharest, has an iconic view of King Michael Park, the largest in the city. BauConzept Engineering provided project management services for fire detection, integrated access control & intrusion detection, CCTV, disabled
refugee people alarm, data-voice IT network and BMS systems. Location is represented by Oregon Park A+B, two office buildings, Breeam certified, 78 000 sqm GBA, located in Bucharest, built with focus to health and well-being of workers, energy efficiency, transport, use of water, waste treatment.

Milcov Mall Focsani
BauConzept Engineering was appointed Project and Cost Manager for MILCOV MALL, the shopping gallery located in center of Focsani. The five levels construction, owned by METEX SA, having over 5000 sqm GLA will include over 40 shops (fashion, footwear, sport, services), café , food court, kids zone, entertainment & events area and ground floor supermarket as anchor. The refurbishment of existing building is an investment of over 3 million Euro consisting of new energy saving systems for heating, cooling and ventilation, outdoor bond façade and glass curtain, modern and high quality interior finishing, indoor bond columns decorated, efficient lighting systems, IP CCTV surveillance system, car park barriers and access control, communication & TV infrastructure, Wi-Fi common areas coverage, architectural sound system. The project is scheduled to be finalized in Q2 of 2015.

BauConzept Engineering is performing the detailed design for Palace of the Patriarchate (Palatul Patriarhiei), historical monument from Bucharest, religious and civic landmark located on Dealul Mitropoliei, in Bucharest, Romania. The 21 000 sqm GBA building is located next to Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral. The designed systems include fire detection, integrated access control & intrusion detection, IP CCTV, data-voice IT network and commercial TV, building management system and HVAC local control automation. The refurbishment of the building is scheduled to be finalized for the second half of 2015.
